I’m taking a quick vacation trip right now. When you are on vacation one send to have the time to show down, smell the roses and notice the little things in life. ca
Today, I was reminded of an ugly truth about us Indians (people originating from India). When 2 Indians meet we generally tend to treat each other as strangers. May be it’s just me but we Indians need to do better.
Some thing to learn from citizens from other countries…
- 2 Israelis meet in a strange land and they meet as brothers looking out for each other, welcoming each other and with a smile.
- I see the same with people from the USA …friendly ready to talk and help each other out.
If you are reading this and from India, I have an earnest request to you. Start with a feeling of trust and belonging. We have common roots – India, doesn’t matter what state, religion or city we come from. We are Indians and we represent India when away from home.
Let’s put the Nation first and prima facie treat your fellow Indian with a welcome smile and be ready to help. If you agree please share with other Indians living abroad.
Together, we can do better. Let’s be Indian’s first. We can be Hindu, Muslim, Christian Punjabi, Sindhi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kashmiri and everything else later. 🙏 Jai Hind
PS: Share this if you agree so we can be there for each other wherever we run into one another anywhere in the world. You can do even better by being a world citizen first.
